OppoQuest is required by law, just like all Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firms, to inform its clients of its policies regarding client information. We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of our former and current clients' personal and private information.
The information OppoQuest Collects
In the course of providing clients with investment advisory services, we receive certain non-public, personal and financial information from our clients. This information is obtained through documents such as financial statements, brokerage account application, and custodian/broker statements.
The Information OppoQuest Discloses
All non-public information that OppoQuest receives regarding its clients is held in the strictest confidence in accordance with its professional obligations, and it is not released to anyone outside of OppoQuest without the client's consent. However, we may disclose some or all of the information we collect to agencies that help us to comply with government regulations as permitted by law. OppoQuest may also disclose information to regulators or other governmental entities as required by law.
Confidentiality and Security of the information
Within OppoQuest, access to clients' non-public information is restricted to individuals who critically need this information in order to discharge their duties. However, in order to guard clients' information, we maintain strict procedural safeguards. With respect to online privacy, OppoQuest only uses platforms that employ industry leading encryption and authentication procedures. In addition, our private networks are password protected and secured to enhance the security environment.
